We're a small Miami studio, not a data business. We collect what we need to send you your order or hold your appointment — nothing more — and we don't sell it to anyone.
What we collect
Only what you give us, and only where you give it:
- When you place an order — your name, email address, phone number if you add one, and your billing and shipping addresses.
- When you join our list — your email address.
- When you contact us or book an event — your name, email, phone, and whatever details you share about the occasion.
- Automatically, as you browse — which pages and products you looked at, what you added to your bag, the site that referred you, your browser type, and an anonymous session identifier.
We do not collect or store your card number. See Payments below.
What we use it for
To take payment, send your order, email you a receipt and tracking, answer your question, hold your appointment, and — only if you asked us to — send you occasional notes about new pieces and pop-up dates.
We look at the browsing data in aggregate to understand which pieces people like and which pages are confusing. We don't use it to build a profile of you.
Payments
Card payments are processed by Square. Your card details go directly from your browser to Square and are never sent to or stored on our servers. We keep only a payment reference, the amount, and whether it succeeded — enough to find your order and issue a refund.
Who else sees your information
A handful of services that run the shop. Each only receives what it needs to do its job, and none of them are permitted to use your information for their own purposes:
- Square — processing card payments and refunds
- Supabase — the database and image storage behind the shop
- Resend — sending order confirmations and list emails
- Vercel — hosting the website
- Google Analytics — aggregate visitor statistics
We do not sell your personal information, and we never have. We'd only hand it over otherwise if the law required it.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are working, and we keep a simple first-party record of page and product views. Both rely on cookies or similar storage.
You can block cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out add-on. The shop still works with cookies blocked — your bag is kept in your own browser.
Emails, and stopping them
Order confirmations and replies to your questions are part of the service, so we'll always send those. Marketing emails only go to people who signed up, and every one has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you're off the list for good.
How long we keep things
Order records stay as long as we need them for tax and accounting. Subscriber emails stay until you unsubscribe. Enquiries are kept while we're helping you and for a reasonable period after, in case you come back. Browsing data is kept in aggregate.
Getting a copy, or getting removed
Email info@bondandfifth.com and ask. We'll send you a copy of what we hold about you, correct anything wrong, or delete it — whichever you want. No forms, no hoops. We may need to keep order records the law requires us to keep, and we'll tell you if that applies.
Children
The shop isn't aimed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us something, email us and we'll remove it.
Changes
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date below. Material changes will be called out here rather than slipped in quietly.
